Ambient agent status for Apple devices

Your agents,
at a glance.

Agent Maxer turns up to six agent chats into clear, ambient signals across Dynamic Island, Live Activities, widgets, Apple Watch, and Mac. Know what needs you without reopening every thread.

The ambient layer

Stay in flow. Let status come to you.

Agent Maxer reduces each tracked chat to the signal you need: what it’s doing, whether it needs you, and how long it has been there.

01

Your Mac observes the work

A menu-bar relay owns a local agent connection and follows your first six Recent or Pinned chats in order.

02

State becomes a simple signal

Working, complete, waiting, idle, or error—paired with a clear “time since” label instead of another dense dashboard.

03

Every glance stays current

The latest bounded state reaches iPhone, system widgets, and Apple Watch through one paired, tenant-isolated bridge.

Made for the Apple surfaces you already see

From your Mac to your wrist.

One ordered six-chat view, adapted to each surface instead of stretched across them.

01

iPhone Dynamic Island, Lock Screen Live Activity, and Home Screen widgets.

02

Apple Watch A beacon-first app, Smart Stack support, and complications.

03

Mac A focused menu-bar relay for chat source, pairing, and connection health.

Designed around a small data boundary

Your work stays on your Mac.

The cloud bridge receives only the bounded status needed to update your surfaces. Your prompts, repositories, source code, command output, and agent credentials are not sent to it.

The honest version

Real product. Clear limits.

Agent Maxer is an active developer preview. Here’s the line between what works now and what still needs to ship.

Live now

Ambient task state

Usage-budget concepts

Five allowance visualizations exist in the app, but they use sample data. Agent Maxer does not currently access or report live OpenAI membership or API allowance data.

Platform limits

Apple and Mac set the cadence

Your Mac must remain awake for new transitions. Apple controls Live Activity delivery, prominence, and lifetime, so background updates are opportunistic rather than guaranteed second by second.

A few useful answers

Before you connect.

Does Agent Maxer read my prompts or code?

No. The hosted bridge receives a bounded chat identifier, short title, state, and timestamp. Prompts, repositories, source code, command output, and agent credentials stay on the Mac.

Does it connect to every chat already open in the desktop app?

No. The Mac relay observes the local agent connection it owns. It does not inspect or attach to the stock desktop app’s private process.

Is live token or usage budgeting available?

Not yet. The budget views are implemented visual concepts backed by preview data until a supported, authenticated usage source is integrated end to end.

Can it keep the Dynamic Island visible forever?

No app can guarantee that. iOS decides Live Activity presentation, delivery cadence, expansion, and lifetime.
